Back home

Jan 31, 2012

Getting back to normal reality at home after a training camp is always tough. But spending time with my girls is a great reality check for me.

On my return from camp I picked up my nice new shiny Condor bike, and even managed to get out on it in the gale force winds over the weekend, i must be keen.

This last week has been a good one, I turned 37 years old, my daughter even sang happy birthday to me in bed. Even though I’m getting older, I still seem to be mad for racing and I got some great training in around the lanes of south yorkshire with some of the local lads.

The Last Revolution track event of the series took place on Saturday ( 28 ) and I loved every minute of it. Probably because I was going all right, it’s never nice getting your ass kicked by the young GB academy riders.
Oh, speaking of my ass. You’ll be glad to know that it’s healed up nicely.

Deano.
